Each plastic card has its own number, bar code, encoded magnetic
stripe, and removable "active label" that bears the number imaged

Restaurants can use a standard sized credit card
for their gift card program. Their stored value card allows customers
to purchase a gift card in any denomination. The cardholder is
now able to use their gift card on each visit. The cards are printed
in four-color process with an encoded magnetic stripe on the back.
